The international cross-country race of the “Horse Category,” the “Marlene Südtirol Sunshine Race”, has established itself as a popular spring classic. Traditionally, the event takes place at the beginning of April in the picturesque rose village of Nals.

Thanks to the participation of numerous world-class athletes, including Olympic champions and world champions, as well as the Junior World Cup, Nals has positioned itself as one of the largest and most popular events in the international mountain biking scene. Young athletes also receive a major platform here to prove themselves in this demanding discipline.

The technically challenging and varied course excites not only the athletes but also the spectators. The broadcast of the race on the Rai Sport channel highlights the high level of the event.
